Name Odette and Vincent Smith
Age 8 and 10 (in that order)
House They'd probably be in Slytherin and Gryffindor (in order)
Year of Death Actually, they're portraits, not ghosts, but I figured they were similar enough to put in the same board. Painted in 1258.
Appearance Odette has long, straight black hair and green eyes, and is shorter than her brother, who has curly blonde hair and blue eyes. She's very pale, and he's got lots of freckles. Don't ask me how they have such different features, I think it's mostly because the romantic (not period, just his personality) artist who painted them didn't really think it through. They're pretty much like night and day, and unfortunately they share a pinkie, (Odette's left one and Vincent's right one) so they can't go anywhere without each other.
Past J. Zachar Lauremie, the man who painted their portrait, based them off of how he saw his two children (also named Odette and Vincent). They were so very, very different, and yet still they were connected by blood as brother and sister. Hence the very symbolic reason of him having them share a pinkie. The only problem is that when their portraits were brought to life they of course instantly couldn't stand each other but couldn't go anywhere without each other, so they're a wonderfully childish mess of argument and cat fighting wherever they go.
Personality Odette's a quiet, calculating, mysterious and usually bored young girl, quite a bit more clever than you'd expect an eight-year-old to be. She's always watching others, seeing what they do and what they say, and even has a great skill of finding good in them, though she'll rarely admit it. Well, I said she was quiet, but I suppose that would only be true if she was alone (which would probably be her preference), but since she's constantly with her brother, she's mostly just irritable all the time. Vincent, on the other hand (AHAHAHAHAHA--I'm so bad.) is cheery, pretty stupid, oblivious to anything important, and generally thinks that everyone's an idiot (for stupid reasons), though he doesn't actually say that they are. But he's a pretty sweet kid anyways, happy to help out and not much of a complainer. He's also more sporty than smart. They're dressed up in stuff from their time period and are too young to have wands, but the children that they were based off of were some of the very first children to go to Hogwarts. But just so you know, they'll act as our medium for communication from house to house during the RP, especially late-night communication. Mostly because Vincent's nice like that. Odette's waaaay less than willing, but she doesn't have much of a choice because he's bigger than her, so oh well. Oh, also, Odette can't pronounce "Hufflepuff", and can only say "Pufflehuff". I think she's where that nickname was coined, though only a few know it.

NameAlyssa Greenpot Age19 HouseRavenclaw Year of Death1992 AppearanceAlyssa is has greenish pale skin with red eyes and white spots all around them. This is a result of the unknown disease that she died of when she was at Hogwarts. Her hair is said by students who have seen her to be like milky moonlight - a gorgeous yellow and blue. PastAlyssa attended Hogwarts for a while and was a star Seeker for Ravenclaw until she contracted a terrible disease that had her bedridden for months. The day that she died, however, her body was found very high up in the school on one of the moving staircases. The staircase was quarantined for a while because nobody ever found out what she died of. Her ghost wanders that staircase and the ones around it, and is said to be quite friendly, despite her appearance and the fact that nobody really goes that high up in the school anyway. PersonalityAlyssa is normally a friendly and clumsy person, but can get irritated easily but doesn't show it. She is usually blushing and messing with her hair. If anyone messes with Alyssa, she will blush and stare at them, and immidately fly away. She doesn't really want people to think she's mean because her appearances can be shocking to people who have never seen her before. Definitely not one of the more chatty ghosts on campus. But by far one of the more beautiful. The reason for her wearing a dress like what she has is also unknown, but it looks kind of like a hospital gown all dolled up. Alyssa carries around her old potions book for reading during boring times, which are a lot. The only times she leaves the high moving staircases is to visit the library where she hides in the back and reads quietly.

Name Sir Ronde and the Voyagers
Age Unknown
House None, really. They're part of a painting.
Year of Death Painted in 1554
Appearance A bunch of men on a sinking ship. Sir Ronde(the one on the mast, looking proud even though his ship is sinking) is a tall, thin man with lots of black hair and an awesome mustache. He has poofy revolution-esque pants and pointy shoes and a coat with lots and lots of buttons. Shiny buttons. The Voyagers are a combination of men on the deck of the ship, some constantly in a panic and some stopping to pose.
Past Sir Ronde and the Voyagers was painted by a man named Luther Drefus in 1554 and was based off of a dream he had where he was the captain of a ship that sunk on a voyage for treasure. The Captain of the ship was based off of him, or so he said. Seeing as Drefus was a short, stubby, balding man with heart problems and a fear of sailing there has been some doubts. The painting was brought to Hogwarts where the kind students took the time to name the painting after an infamous band of the same name.
Personality Sir Ronde is a prideful man with a bit of a gambling problem, so he likes to make bets with students about the inner-workings of Hogwarts. His "Voyagers" are a babbling bunch when you get them started, and like to talk about the many treasures they've collected over their travels, that is, when they're not yelling about their ship sinking. A few of the most noted voyagers include a fatter man with a receding hair line dubbed Portia by some of the earlier students of Hogwarts, a tough man with seven tattoos called Leslie, and a man with a compass that likes to sometimes yell things at unsuspecting passersby.

Name Alis Baldulf
Age He looks about 22
House Ravenclaw
Year of Death 1679
Appearance He's got big eyes, and short hair with lots of curls. He wears really poofy pants tucked into boots. He wears a jerkin(google it), and a doublet with rather tight fitting sleeves.
Past Not much is known about his past due to the fact that he doesn't talk to people much, but there is a legend saying that he was a powerful wizard that died from a broken heart(a legend mostly passed around by the female students, although there is no reason to disbelieve it). He loved a woman named Isabella, and it is believed that he died fighting for her. He even broke his prized sword in his final battle, the same sword that he carries around with him everywhere.
Personality He is a ghost of low self-esteem. He's kind of depressing really, and people want to be around him just about as much as he wants to be around them. Most of the time he is nowhere to be found, but every once in a while you can find him in a corner somewhere, looking depressed and staring at his broken sword. He rarely talks to students, but he is very up to date on things that happen within the school. He is also a very intelligent ghost, and for the veeeery few students that befriend him, he has been known to help them with their schoolwork.
